Conversation In The Mountains...
the work of Peter Mo Woo

If you were to ask me why
I dwell among green mountains,
I should laugh silently;
my soul is serene.
The peach blossom follows the
moving water;
There is another heaven and earth
Beyond the world of men.

Peter Mo Woo

President of the Oriental Art Association

Peter Mo Woo a preeminent Chinese brush painter from Canton, China, now in residence in San Francisco, is a master artist of the highest order in traditional Chinese painting techniques.

In this collection of paintings, nature is the theme. His work evokes intense images of mist filled space, a moment of time captured and reawakens our memories, of quiet reflections amidst the business of our lives. It is not an escape but a drawing of one into the spell of the infinite revealing itself in the finite.
